Q1: What is the weight capacity of this item? How much weight can the table top hold?

A: We can't specify a weight capacity. However, we can say that it's designed to comfortably support the weight of a drafting machine, a parallel straightedge, a bunch of books, a lamp and all the odds and ends a designer needs within reach. The Ensign table is very strong, but if we say that it can support xxx lbs, we have to specify where on the table it can support that weight. If a user wanted to put xxx lbs on the very edge of the board, there could be a problem.
