What We Like About This Hobby Station

 

Adjustable height and angle make the Alvin CraftMaster Hobby Rolling Drafting Table Station a great set for your home or office. With the locking casters, the height ranges from 28- to 32-inches; the floor guides subtract 2 inches. The table angle can be adjusted anywhere up to 30 degrees by means of a single-handed tilting mechanism. A three-drawer storage bin on each side will keep pens, pencils and other tools handy and organized. Choose from three different table tops to match your tastes.

Paper thin top&enamel - screws too small

The top was slightly damaged, probably due to its being so thin. I thought it was melamine, but it seems like paper. The 5/8" screws in the instructions were actually 1/2" or 3/8" depending on how they are measured. I replaced them from a local Ace Hardware. The white enamel had minor chipping in the package and very light blow through the plastic created another chip. Possibly recommend to a friend with above qualifications.

I've had one of these for years to help hold heavy textbooks and grade papers. I like the angle of the desk as it helps prevent/decrease pain in my neck of looking down. I bought a new house and got rid of my old one but missed it so much had to purchase this one. The only problem I had with putting together is putting together the plastic drawers one of which I still do not have done. The pencil ledge is not too good and I don't think it will last long. The edges are a little sharp and I am going to cover with something to prevent scratches on my arms.
