Add a straightedge to convert this to a drafting table. The "sled" base is both attractive and makes the table easier to slide about, if necessary to move it. This is the second one I've bought, as I left one in a rental apartment, which the tenants use for their laptop and as a desktop, for which the slight incline is very comfortable.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I do a lot of stamping, paper arts, and calligraphy, and this really is an ideal table for me. It's easy to clean, durable and has ample workspace.I'm such a fan of this table that after the third cross-country move (or the careless movers) proved too much, so I searched high and low for a replacement.
